NVIDIA RTX 3080 Founder Edition Just serviced the GPU in preparation for summer months. Fully cleaned and upgraded all thermal pads! Replaced ALL thermal pads (front and back) with: Gelid GP-Extreme 2mm and 2.5mm pads. Thermal paste was changed to: Gelid GC-Extreme All in about $25 in thermal pads and paste plus an hour of labor cleaning all the nasty factory pads off the circuit board. The founders cards were known the memory hotter up to 90-100c. This upgrade had memory temps in the 70's and core temps in the 60's at ambient of 76 Fahrenheit with GPU fans at 80% and a 14900k blowing into the case.
