1988 Volkswagen Cabriolet

Not interested in trades We're selling our 1988 VW Cabriolet. We had bought it as a project car for my wife, but after finding pictures of her late mom's first car, we've decided to pivot to finding one of those instead. This car isn't perfect, don't expect a show car, but it's solid and runs well. The basics: - VW Cabby Boutique trim - 128k miles - Original 1.8L JH 4-cylinder engine - 5-speed manual The good: - Runs and drives without issue, we've been driving it for the past year and put a couple thousand miles on it - Very minimal rust, no undercarriage rust, only spot is a bit at the bottom of the windshield - New tires about 500 miles ago - New alternator - New accessory belts - All gauges work The bad: - Top needs to be replaced, but a new saddle brown top from M&T is included - Was hit on the front by a quad and dented the fender, which has been replaced (includes original fender and grill) - Belt/throw-out bearing noise at about 1k RPM, never got that far into the engine Includes: - Clean title in our names, in-hand - New top in box with cables and other pieces - 2 keys (one original VW) - Car cover - Original fender - All trim - Original front grill - 2 additional oil filters
