Bought this custom made furniture piece, many years ago, from an elderly gentleman in nearby Crescenta Valley who claimed he made it with his own two hands. Multifunctional armoire is made out of solid wood, using quality construction methods including dove tail joints. Upper space has double doors that slide and neatly tuck into the unit when doors are open, to reveal the spacious interior. Last used as a closet with the hanger bar installed, back wall has a small hole for cables to go through if needed and has cleats/shelf supports to hold a shelf (not included) if desired. Bottom of piece consists of four spacious pull-out drawers for extra storage. Patina is great, naturally distressed, rustic - knots on wood were allowed to bleed through white paint for a unique look. NOTE: Armoire doors and drawers don't always slide smoothly. This doesn't affect use/functioning of the piece. Hardware probably needs to be adjusted/oiled and it's nothing that can't be easily fixed.
