2003 Land Rover Discovery

For sale is our 2003 Land Rover Discovery II SE with 137,xxx miles. This has been a great car but as our family grows we find ourselves needing more space for our mountain adventures. This vehicle has been well maintained and is very reliable with a strong engine and transmission. Everything works as it should including both sunroofs, heated seats, power windows/mirrors, heated windshield. A/C blows cold and heat is nice and hot. It has newer shocks (Old Man Emu), all terrain tires (BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain), American Racing wheels, and an Optima yellow top battery. The front driveshaft has been upgraded to a stronger double cardan since the stock ones are not known for their reliability. Head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, idler pulleys, upper radiator hoses, and power steering pump all replaced within the last 1000 miles. The head gasket leak was found very early and the engine never overheated. Heads were checked when everything was disassembled. It does have a very slight leak from the engine and transmission oil pans but only needs a top off at regular maintenance intervals. Recent oil/filter change for engine and transmission. Exterior and interior and both in overall good condition for a vehicle this age. The clearcoat is fading in some spots and the hood was repainted by the previous owner with a matte paint to eliminate glare. The seats have a few tears and the headliner is sagging a bit but overall interior is in good condition and very comfortable. This vehicle is the most comfortable vehicle to drive out of all the vehicles we own and has great visibility. It does very well in the snow with its amazing traction system, all time 4 wheel drive, and all terrain tires.
