These car seats were used for one child, not 2. No food or drink was ever spilled in the car seat. Weight value for these car seats is thirty pounds. My son is almost eighteen months old and still isn't thirty pounds so you can definitely use these car seats for a good period of time. One of the car seats was used barely because it was my fiance's car seat and he did not drive around and use a car seat as much as myself.
