Description

This incredible antique lamp with a mokugyo (Japanese chanting/meditation drum) was purchased at an estate sale from a late historian professor who travelled the world collecting artifacts. I believe this is an authentic Mokugyo from the Taisho period (19twelve-19twentysix) and could be worth even more than what I’m asking. The lamp still works. Both sockets. I believe all original hardware. Leviton. 1960s-1970s. Incredible piece for collectors and restoration experts. See last photos for description of the mokugyo. Asking $150 OBO. Zelle or cash.
