Beyond the great value that I believe I got for the car I purchased, Juan made me feel confident throughout our interactions building trust, which was fundamental for me (and anyone buying a used car). A specific thing that truly led me to trust them was the fact that they trusted me to take the car for a 20-25 minute drive on my own through the roads and highway, allowing me to truly put the car to the test in conditions it will be subjected to on a daily basis.

I greatly recommend SoFlo Cars and they will be the first company I think of when looking to buy future cars for my family, or if anyone asks for a recommendation.

The location is unfortunately going through some long-term public construction so get ready for some dusty roads, but no worries!

I reached out a few days ago about a vehicle and was told I’d receive a Carfax and a walkaround video from the owner. A few days passed, and – surprise – nothing showed up. I sent a polite follow-up text, which was met with radio silence. After several unanswered calls, I finally spoke with one of the owners, who reassured me that the video was on the way.

At this point, I figured I’d skip the dance and ask for the drive-out price directly. You know how it goes – the advertised price is rarely the actual price. To their credit, the communication had been pleasant – until the callback. That’s when I learned that the drive-out price was nearly $1,600 higher than the $11,000 asking price. A bit steep, wouldn’t you say?

When I asked if this was disclosed on CarGurus (where I initially found the vehicle), I was told it was clearly listed on their website. I pressed the point – was it in the CarGurus description? “Yes,” they assured me. Naturally, I checked. And naturally, it wasn’t.

At this stage, I recognized the classic bait-and-switch routine – the kind where you’re reeled in with a tempting price, only to discover nearly 20% in hidden fees. Once I realized I wasn’t being told the whole truth, I began recording the call – just to have a little keepsake of the interaction. Funny enough, as soon as the owner realized this, they suddenly felt “uncomfortable” and promptly hung up.

Now, let’s be honest – the only reason someone who’s been treated with nothing but respect and courtesy would hang up the second they know they’re being recorded… is because they know they’ve been caught. And, understandably, no one wants their little “oops” immortalized for the world to hear.

My takeaway? This dealership fits the mold – shady practices, hidden fees, and a sprinkle of dishonesty for good measure. I wouldn’t recommend them, but hey – if you’re in Miami, you might just have to roll the dice and hope for the best.
