2001 Yamaha Road Star

Purchased in 2009 with 42,000 miles on her from dealer for $6,200. Was my stepdads who passed away in 2018. He always stored it in garage all year long unless he was riding it. Very clean and well maintained. He put just over 6,600 miles on it while he was able to. It’s been in garage for past 3 years unless I pulled it out to fire it up and occasionally taken it out for a short ride to make sure everything was in working condition. The fuel light flashes when running idk why even with a full tank. Other then that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the bike. I’ve had it out starts right up shifts and rides smooth. Tires have a lot of miles left on them. Not sure when they were purchased but they can’t have to many miles on them . I ride a bobbed chopper so riding this bike is like riding a lazy boy recliner down the road. it is so comfortable. Lots of power as it’s a 1600cc. I’ve kept it cleaned and running for 3 years and my mom is ready to part ways with it now. Really is a must see. There is 1 scratch by the rear fender and bag idk how it could of happened but that’s it. If you were to see it you wouldn’t ever guess it’s 20 years old.
