Evans Speciality Co. designed 'The Handle' aluminum accordion style rack in the 1950s for sorting, collating and organizing paperwork/magizines The rack has a horizontal handle attached at each end to assist in fully extending the rack. When the rack is fully extended it is approximately 87" in length. The amount you extend it is up to you! The rack is sturdy and strong enough that it would be perfect to hold a LP records collection or magazines in a public waiting area. Height - 10" Open Height Closed:11" Depth - 7" Width when closed - 7" Width when fully extended - 40" This vintage mid-century filing rack is in good pre-owned condition. There are no breaks to any of the parts and no oxidation. All moving parts are in good and smooth working order
