Bought the Subaru a couple years back from the first owner (iirc). It needed an engine and transmission so I bought it, took it to a mechanic and had a rebuilt engine and transmission put in. About a $2000 job. I've done the front brakes full job this past summer. New brake pads a month ago in the rear. It has a brand new windshield as of October. Just oil changed it. The downside is that there is cosmetic damage. My car was being borrowed while I was away for work and it got hit and run in the rear. No frame damage at all. I guess it was in the parking lot. The sunroof glass has a crack in it. Basically you get a Subaru that looks a bit rough but has a lot of life left on it due to the engine and transmission swap. Not in a rush to sell so I'm just putting out feelers for now. Inclusion of the hitch will cost $150 extra.
