It roars to life, a small-block 305 V-8, improved with a new Edelbrock carburetor and air filter system. It's four-on-the-floor manual transmission (with granny gear) is both fun, and a great theft-deterrent. It starts, it runs, it GOES, it stops, it steers. We just got back from a trip to North Bend to get our Christmas tree, and it was a champ on the highway. We've gotten it that far. Due to a sudden health challenge, it's not my time to keep working on it. Lots of pics (and a video of it starting from cold) available. We put in: * new starter * new carburetor * new radiator, thermostat and hoses (and a heckuva radiator flush) * new air filter & housing * new battery cables It's 2WD/RWD, has the usual amount of quirks for a 40 year old truck. Little rust (pics show the door panels, where there is a bit). The bed is rock solid, and not a rust problem. No body putty on this bad boy.
