Here is a modified 1972 Honda CL350. This bike does not currently run, but I will be getting running in the next couple of weeks. I am at least the third owner. When I got it, it was a race-only conversion, so it has a Todd Henning cylinder head, starter delete (bike is kick-only), Hagon shocks, and a CB450 front end. I bought it from a friend of mine who let it develop patina for about a year. Once I got it, I made my own modifications. The frame has been modified to a tracker. Many parts have been powder-coated. I had to add lights and a mirror for use on the highway. The engine turned over easily, shifted properly, and had good compression, so I didn’t do much with the engine except for replace the sticking cam chain tensioner. There is a one-off battery box that houses the LiFePO battery, reg/rect, new switches, and new fuses on the new wiring harness. The charging system and ignition coils are all modern. The stock carbs were replaced with Mikuni VM’s and UNI foam filters. The bike has been geared for highway use, so keeping up with traffic on I-4 has been no problem. I’ve ridden this bike to N Alabama and back without incident. The bike currently does not have a FL title, but it was registered in my name in Alabama. All you’ll need for a FL title and tag is a bill of sale sold from the last registered owner (me). Things that still need to be done : carb clean (and maybe a light tune), fabricate tag mount, wire in tag light, install a few odds and ends, and ride into the sunset. I have a whole box of extra parts, including NIB Kibblewhite valves and accoutrements, at least one extra head, some of the original, stock parts, and more, available for the right price.
