Adorable Repurposed/Upcycled Farmhouse Table/Coffee Table/End Table/Night Stand. I'd like to introduce you to Isabella! This delightful creature was hand-made from scratch. Isabella is unique and one of a kind. She's actually my second one I ever built, the first being just sold before making this one. She was painted in a warm, pretty farmhouse white chalk paint sealed in wax for added protection. The idea behind this wonderful piece came from the fascination of taking individual pieces that would ordinarily serve as one purpose and taking them and combining them together in a way that made them feel they always belonged together. Upcycling and repurposing them in a way that would draw a response. In this project, two old antique windows from a 1905 house in Cranston RI were used to make a table and serve as shelves. In conjunction with windows, spindles from a farmhouse porch that I acquired from a small town in Massachusetts were used to make the legs and attach them to the windows to make the piece functional and elevating. Each spindle was cut, sanded, glued, painted, and attached to the windows, giving her lots of character, dimension, and elegance. Both windows were sanded, scraped, and painted, leaving behind delightful imperfections underneath from its past telling a story like a time capsul. To further enhance her profile, white castor wheels were added to draw the eye top to bottom and give her easy mobility to move freely from space to space and room to room, too. Her presence as a whole is spectacular, bright, and cheery. The light that passes through her is beautiful with her 6 pane windows on top and bottom. She has lots of space and surface area on both shelves to utilize and have fun with showcasing her with furnishings. For Isabella, she could function in multiple ways as a table, whether it be a coffee table, end table, night stand, or a table along a wall. You could place her anywhere and display her with flowers, plants, and home decor. You could use her as a coffee/tea/pastry/ dry bar and jewelry bar, too. Her presence is tantelizing and would garner lots of attention as she would make a terrific conversational show piece. Isabella is a one of a kind built from scratch, which adds to her story and journey. You could use her in any genre, whether it be farmhouse, cottage, rustic, French country, modern and beachy. Isabella projects a vibe and aura of being home and feels like she came out of the past out an old farmhouse Too. Very whimsical and nostalgic piece with lots of warm presence and one of a kind, unique hand made like a beautiful piece of art. To think two separate pieces, living two separate lives coming together as one in unison as though they were always like that is beautiful and enchanting.
