I am pleased to present this original and authentic Louis Vuitton large garment bag, originally purchased from Neiman Marcus in Dallas, TX by my Grandfather in the 1970's for my sweet Grandmother. He was a stylish Texas State Senator who always traveled in style, so it is not surprising that he made sure his gorgeous wife, had an equally stylish set of LV’s herself! This piece is truly a collectors dream!  DETAILS: Condition and Features: This Gorgeous garment bag is considered a collector's item, and considering it is half a century old, it is in excellent condition.  It was manufactured in the USA by the French Co.. There are signs of wear on the top of the suitcase by the handle - just a few dings and scratches to the leather and the bottom of the bag on the underside where it’s has been set on the ground - to be expected. Other than a little bit of age showing on the hanger hook which can be cleaned by Louis Vuitton, the bag looks absolutely gorgeous. Every single detail of this piece is perfectly intact and pristine. This suitcase has so many gorgeous details it is difficult to part with; it is a true collector’s item. The stitching is beautiful, the brass Talon zippers and leather closures and snaps are in excellent condition, even the keys hang from original LV ribbon behind the original (5) brass built-in hangers. The interior still has the original paper tag in the shoe compartment stitched into the corduroy brown lining. The leather detail has a beautiful dark brown patina. The case opens to one small pochette bag that is removable for miscellaneous items, and there are two separate Tucky closures securing the zippers. No need to open the entire bag to grab just one item, you can store items at the bottom of the bag or protect the bottoms of garments and keep the top rolled up and secured with built-in leather strap.
