Wellcraft Nova 250XL + Trailer

Wellcraft Nova 250 XL I've run multiple 100+ mile days spearfishing kelp paddies and bluefin foamers this summer on this boat. We've caught Mahi, Yellowtail, and Bluefin off it. It's a solid platform for getting out to sea ready to head out to open water today. On flat water it cruises at 18 knots at 3,000 rpm and 28 knots wide open. I estimate it has a 200nm cruising range. The deep-v hull was designed for offshore racing and handles impressively in all conditions. Repowered in the 90s (1994?) with a Volvo Penta 5.7 GL and a fuel efficient 290 duoprop (DP-E?) drive. Some features the boat has: - Long cockpit with lots of deck space - Through hull Rule bait pump (not currently wired up) - Bennet hydraulic trim tabs - Full width cushioned bench seat at the stern. - Custom built ice boxes on deck with upholstered seating cushions on top. - Older Furuno color fish finder with through hull transducer. - Cuddy cabin with good cushions. Can comfortably sleep 6'2" folks. - Full width swim step with large dive ladder. - Long under deck storage areas. - Anchor + windlass - Aluminum tower with lots of rod holders, top seat -1978 dual axle trailer in fair condition: some rust spots, no brakes, 5 good tires, good wheel bearings with bearing buddies, working lights, new tongue jack, new winch Work done since 2020: - Rewired everything but the engine harness. Wires, cables, breakers, etc. are new, good quality, and marine rated. All lights are LED - New hydraulic steering actuator - Rebuilt Holley 2 barrel carb - New fuel pump - New rubber fuel line and fuel/water separator - New raw water pump - New distributor cap and rotor - Multiple engine oil and filter changes - New engine drive belts - New bilge blower, ducting, and bilge vent plenums - Two new bilge pumps - New VHF antenna - New LED cabin, deck, nav, and anchor lights - New lazarette bulkhead and engine box Why so cheap? - It's an old boat that will take more care than a new one - The through hull for the bait pump seeps water. I nearly filled it with epoxy since I've only been spearfishing but I figure the next owner may want to fix it and set up a bait tank. I've just been running the bilge pumps every few hours out there and haven't stressed about it. - Aesthetically it could use some love: the paint on the aluminum spotting is starting to peel off, the hull paint is old (maybe original?), the isinglass windows are pretty clouded up Boat comes with older radar ready to be installed as well as life jackets, flares, first aid kit, fire extinguisher etc Parker Grady white whaler
