I ended up purchasing 2 Yamaha YSS62R's over the holidays and am selling one of them. This listing is for an early six-digit (0617) 62R. Both the horn and the case do show wear (please see photos for details), but I just had my tech do a couple of hundred dollars worth of work (not an overhaul or a repad as the tech did not think either was necessary at this time) to put it in great playing condition. The horn is missing the lyre screw, but that can easily and cheaply be replaced. The other one is a virtually mint condition 07xx 62R (even the case is in mint condition). A buyer can potentially purchase that one instead of the one listed here, but it will cost more, of course. The sound is identical, and if anything, the horn listed here plays a bit smoother right now since it has just been worked on by my tech. Asking price is $3,450. Will entertain trade offers for a Mark VI soprano.
