Description

Set of four vintage teak Moller chairs, Model 55 (arm chair) and Model 71 (side chair) with aquamarine tweed upholstery. The hind legs and backs are characterized by mind-bending curves that represent hours of carving, shaping, and sanding, by hand, by the world’s top craftsmen. The front legs feature an exposed post with a perfect rectangular taper. The upholstery is in good condition, free from rips and tears, with slight discoloration visible on close inspection. All frames are sturdy and show normal signs of wear commensurate with age. One of the side chairs (Model 71) has a break that was previously repaired.
