I have a new in the box Embassy Pro bass guitar made by Epiphone. These are real issues of the original Embassy bass made in the 60s, which used the same pickups and Hardware as the Gibson Thunderbirds of that era. These reproductions are made of all mahogany like the originals and this example has a high gloss black finish. The components of these pickups were cast from the original versions, using the same type of wire, winding and production methods. In the end, these pickups are the absolute closest thing you can find that create the original 60s Thunderbird sound. I intended to use the pickups and electronics from this bass and put them in an American Gibson Thunderbird but never got around to it. Long scale. No case. See pics.
