Hey. Up for sale is a Penn Slammer III 6500 fishing reel with a Penn Carnage 2 CARBWII4080S70 7 foot boat fishing rod. Both in excellent condition. This is basically one of the best looking, strongest and lightest yellowtail, yellowfin, school sized bluefin and anyother big game setups you can get. Its used on many TV shows including Local Knowledge for a reason. It's a perfect setup for the boat or the pier. Casts pretty far for a 7foot rod. Only selling because I have too many setups. The reel has an IPX6 waterproof rating, all metal body and rotor, solid brass maingear and pinion, 40lbs of drag, 42" per crank. It's a rigid workhorse. Comes loaded to the top with 65lb power pro and and short top shot of 40lb Izorline XXX. Rod is made of a 1 piece glass and graphite multidirectional weave. It's light for how strong it is. Fuji K guides with Alconite inserts, Pac Bay aluminum reel seat, aluminum gimbal, and non slip rubber grips. Perfect size and weight to live line, work vertical jigs, throw iron jigs, drop bucktails, swimbait, jerkbait, light trolling jigs, etc. Condition is excellent. Only used a hand full of times, only 1 time on a boat. Its never seen any big fish. It has some small scratches on the reel seat, so Ive dropped the price for that reason. Was asking for $380.
