Make best offer on : ANTIQUE Floral Needlepoint WOODEN FIREPLACE SCREEN w Glass On Stand. We were on an antiquing trip in Maine in the late 60's and found this firescreen.  It caught our eye and for many years we actually used it as a firescreen in front of our fireplace in Tallahassee Florida.  My wife replaced the material under glass with a floral needlepoint that she made.  The needlepoint measures 13" by 20".  The overall screen measures 17" by 28" and the base is 7".. Its always received tender loving care, and always on display in our house-never stored.  The people we bought it from in Georgetown Maine said it had been in their family for 90-100 years. We would love to keep it but are downsizing and need to let go of all items that are not essential
