2002 GMC Sierra 1500, 4.6 HP, base configure, manual everything – 220K miles, 90% being highway miles. This truck was used primarily to travel back and forth to work up and down I81 for the past 18 years – but also made many trips to NY. I bought it to be able to haul material to and from my home (rocks/pavers/mulch/furniture/appliances, multiple trips to the dump/recycling center) – and that’s exactly what it was used for, and it shows. There are dings and dents and chipped paint and rust and scratches all about the bed… and that’s ok, it wasn’t bought for style but rather for hauling. Engine/transmission – work great, has power, no abnormal noise. Brakes should have plenty of life in them. Tires uneven wear but still good. That said, has some issues, perfect for mechanic or DIYer. Air conditioning – dead for the past 2 years – needs new compressor. Power brakes – dead, past month – suspect leak in line as put in 12oz. of brake fluid and after pumping brakes returned to below the line again. Headliner - yes, needs replaced. Probably needs alignment, uneven wear in tires. Starting truck – have to turn key on for 10-15 seconds, then off, then turn to start, will start on 2nd attempt – do not believe it’s the starter or fuel pump. I could clean all the windows and vacuum and dust and steam clean the seats and protect the dash and all of that – but it’s an 18 year old truck. $1000.00 Firm
