Selling my 1989 BMW E30 — a classic that’s become a bit of a project due to recent vandalism. I’ve owned this car for almost 5 years, and it’s been a passion project from day one. Unfortunately, after the damage, I decided it’s time to let it go to someone who can give it the attention it deserves. Details & Condition: • Title: Clean (no insurance claim filed for the vandalism) • Mileage: 78,000 original miles • Engine: Rebuilt about 15,000 miles ago — cylinder head was machined, valve guides and seats redone, new valve springs, rockers, and camshafts installed. This was preventative work, not due to a failure. • Transmission: Shifts well — new clutch installed ~15,000 miles ago along with a new timing belt. • Exterior: Needs paint and bodywork due to vandalism. Windshield is cracked and all four tires are flat (will need to be towed). • Interior: Still in decent shape (happy to discuss details in person or over the phone). • Recent investment: Roughly $6,000–$7,000 put into it over the past 5 years, including a full paint job about 3.5 years ago before the damage.
