Description

Very rare poster from 1939. This is an original Toy Town advertisement which was a the brainchild of marketing wiz of the time Kay Kamen , the campaign began in 1938 and was used in stores across the U.S. in their toy departments specifically around Christmas to showcase the newest and greased must have toys. This is a great piece of American nostalgia and is very hard to find. It would make a great addition to any bedroom, playroom, store or private collection. It has been professionally framed with a fun paint splatter theme. Frame Measures 24-3/8” by 33-1/4” tall with poster measuring 20” across top tapering down to 14” Poster is in very good condition considering it’s age it does have two small tears/crease, one in upper right and one in upper middle. It has been stored in a smoke free environment and enjoyed for the past 35 years by a private collector who is now sizing down his collection. Please look at pictures carefully as they are part of the description.
