Beautiful vintage Asian-style octagonal wooden storage chest that doubles perfectly as a unique end table, side table, or statement accent piece. Features a rich, deep red lacquer finish with antiqued black shading, hand-painted details, and a traditional "Shou" longevity symbol medallion on the top lid. It is adorned with decorative brass upholstery nails/studs along the borders and features functional swing-style brass handles on the side panels. The hinged top lid lifts to reveal a fully paper-lined interior perfect for hidden storage (blankets, pillows, games, or keepsakes).
