Kenmore Elite LCD touchscreen washer dryer set

Handyman special!!! 3 year old Kenmore Elite LCD touch screen washer (Model # 29478) / dryer (Model # 69478) for sale $300 Washing machine needs repair, after 5 weeks of fighting with Sears I have given up and decided to buy a new set…let me fill you in on what needs to be fixed. The clutch assembly needs replaced (part # 3661EA1009F) due to the wash plate agitator detaching (it is held on by a bolt at the top of the clutch assembly). We have the part already, paid $163, its yours for $100. Also, the nut that holds on the clutch assembly had to be cut off (part ‪#‎4020FA4208J‬) which we do not have. Dryer has no issue other than the screen taking a couple of seconds to come on, it has always done that since we purchased it, and again decided to live with it rather than fight with Sears anymore. This was a beautiful and expensive set, we originally paid over $1k each and I loved them before the washer broke. I was hoping to have them fixed since I wasn’t ready to give them up just yet but due to Sears’ incompetence and the high price of having to have a local appliance repair do the job, I decided to just buy another set. This would be perfect for someone who can do the job themselves, but priced low because of the high price of repair. They are located upstairs, so please bring dolly and assistance to help you move.
