This rare left handed beautiful and very interesting beer stein was made in America by an American fine porcelain manufacturer French China Co. It is marked with La Francaise Porcelain mark - this is the mark of the French China Co. founded by Fred Sebring in 1898. This stein was made in the early 1900s of the so-called "American Belleek porcelain". This type of very fine white ceramics originated in Ireland and was perfected in the US. It is decorated with beautiful brown glaze and a picture of a monk drinking from a bottle the lip has gold paint.
