After about an hour of use or more (depending how heavy your usage is), the Surface screen will start flickering, but if you connect this to an external monitor, this will not be an issue. Only the Surface screen will do this, it will not affect your screen on the monitor, just the Surface screen. The ghosting screen will be reset after the laptop/tablet is shut off for about an hour.
