Mid-Century Modern China Cabinet Display Hutch 1950 MidCentury

Original 1957 Mid-Century (McCobb style) china display cabinet, purchased in 1957 by our parents and used from then until now. A much loved treasure in our family but we have now inherited a new china cabinet and we need to let this one move on to a new life. It is made with solid elm wood with genuine bamboo fabric roll interior lining. Solidly built and elegantly designed piece of furniture which will last a lifetime. (And has!) Top cabinet has glass shelves. Bottom cabinet has slatted wood doors with metal circle inset finger pulls to slide the doors along the tracks. These two pieces can be used together or separately. The top cabinet (with glass doors) sits above and on top of the lower cabinet. Some minor wear on the top and sides of lower cabinet, but otherwise in almost perfect condition. Glass doors with dished in ground handles are doors easily removable if you would like an open bookcase type cabinet. Lower cabinet doors can also be removed easily but have a great slatted wood look! Dimensions Overall Height: 63.5" (161.3cm) Width: 36" (91.44cm) Depth: 16" (40.64cm) Upper cabinet (with glass doors) Height: 35" (89cm) Width: 28" (71cm) Depth: 13" (33cm) Bottom cabinet: Height: 20.5" (52.07cm) Width: 36" (91.44cm) Depth: 16" (40.64cm) Top cabinet is in good condition w/ minor blemishes on left and right sides. Interior is close to flawless - bamboo lining has no rips, tears, stains. Glass doors have no cracks, scratches or dings. Bottom cabinet shows some minor wear on top and sides (some stains, wood color uneven in areas) Slatted wood doors are overall pretty good, with some wood dings here and there. (not visible unless looking closely) Interior of lower cabinet is well maintained, no obvious repair needed to the interior areas. Legs have some dings from wear.
