I have for sale my gorgeous Maple bop kit made at Modern Drum Shop in NYC by great jazz drummer , Joe Cusatis. Drums are from 90’s and are in pretty good shape. The shop was making custom maple drums from 80’s to mid 2000s, these drums are pretty well-known in NYC jazz scene. Here are the specs: Drums are 5 or 6 ply keller maple shells, all shells are round and in beautiful condition. The color of the drums are natural satin finish all matching. Hardware is mostly 80’s Japan Yamaha, the lugs, tom holder and tom arm all are Yamaha. Chrome on some of the hoops has scratches and chrome flakes. Bass drum - 18”x14” - Ludwig spurs and just some normal wear and light nicks here and there and some wear where pedal attaches but nothing too deep) Floor tom - 14”x14” (just normal wear, no problems) Rack tom - 12”x8” (some snare rash but nothing too deep) Rack tom - 10”x7” (just normal wear, no problems) It comes with a single long Yamaha tom arm for that 18/14/12 or 18/14/10 setup and I also have a Yamaha Japan double tom holder with Yamaha short arms for 18/14/12/10 setup. The heads on toms are mixture of remo coated/clear heads. Bass drum reso is ambassador and the batter side is Remo Masterworks PS3 which comes on high end Pearl kits. Overall killer Jazz kit, I can sell this in a heart bit out of state but I want to give the first opportunity to my fellow Californians and offer local pick up.
