All systems tested and benchmarked. The i5 12600KF is the overclockable 12th gen 15 without the integrated graphics. The motherboard is the MSI Pro Z690 board which is the chipset that supports overclocking. The CPU cooler is the recently released Arctic Freezer 36, which is a new big air type of cooler that performs very well with the Intel socket 1700, and you can find reviewers that show it performs north of 225W TDP on these processors. The Radeon RX6600 is a mid tier 1080p card with very good rasterization performance on most modern games. This system on most gaming workloads will be GPU limited. The i5 will have little difficulty keeping up with the RX6600, and this is an area that is easily upgradable on a platform like this to get more gaming performance, but this card allows entry at a lower cost with future upgrade possibilities. I may have a couple of cards around that would be an upgrade if that is something you want now, including the Nvidia RTX 3060 and the 2070, 2070 Super. Additionally the i5 will be a good processor for multithreaded workloads with 6 performance cores, 4 efficiency cores, and a total of 16 threads. P-core base frequency is 3.7GHz, and boost clock is 4.9GHz, rated for              125 W base TDP, and 150W Boost TDP. This board allows setting power limits greater than Intel specs, and the Arctic Freezer can probably handle most of what is possible with the i5 under reasonable ambient conditions. This system will also be a good performer at this cost for productivity and development types of activities, and if you are compiling reasonably sized projects, should get the job done at a decent cost compared to more expensive processor options. The system has a 500GB m.2 ssd and an additional 1TB HDD for storage to get started. Any of this can be upgraded. More data on build and performance available.
