94-97 1.8L NA NA8 Mazda Miata BP05 Engine

Up for sale is a BP05 engine for an NA 1.8L miata (94-97). Can be easily swapped into NA6 miatas as well. I purchased this years ago as a spare engine for our team, and have continued to hold onto it because these are getting concerningly harder to find. However, I'd like to clear some space. It was removed from a running miata.. I also recall doing a compression test before pulling it but don't remember the exact numbers. I recall them being "okay" and fairly inline with an engine in the 150-180k mile range. For what it's worth, I hooked up a compression tester and spun it by hand with a ratchet as best as I could and got 120-125PSI across all 4. It will be significantly higher with an actual starter (guessing in the 150-160PSI range). If you have a transmission, you're more than welcome to bolt it up and we can hook up a battery to a starter to do an actual compression test before you purchase it. Comes with a freshly resurfaced flywheel. I have lots of other parts if you need anything else as well, and can bundle it with the engine.
