Description

Looking to sell my 1987 Trailboss 250 to someone more mechanically inclined. This has been a fun and reliable quad that treated me well, but it wouldn’t start this summer. I took it to a mechanic who installed a bunch of new parts (cost me over $1,000 total): Piston & cylinder Piston rings & gaskets Crank seals Carburetor Spark plug Drive belt Despite all that, it still won’t start. I don’t have the time or patience to troubleshoot it further, so I’m trying to get some of my money back. Extras: Oil injection delete (runs off of premixed fuel.) Aftermarket exhaust Brand new rear tires Spare unbroken front fenders included Frame is solid and overall condition is decent, just needs some TLC. This should be an easy fix for someone with a bit of mechanical knowledge. Great winter project or parts machine. Asking $650 OBO, motivated to sell, make me an offer. Trades accepted. In Lafayette. Message me if you're interested or have questions!
