Description

This is an incredibly precise made scale. This was the top-of-the-line back in the 1880s when it was used. It was used for chemists to measure out very tiny amounts of specific compounds. All of the points where the pieces rub have Ruby guide bearings. A couple of them have some minor chips, but it should not affect its usability. Truly a lovely decorative piece for any home.
