My car has spun a bearing on one of the connecting rods due to low oil. So she requires an engine rebuild. I have bought a brand new short block from Jaguar - new not remanufactured $$$ but brand new. I have removed the engine and gearbox and its ready for the strip down and replacement. The car has 45,000 original miles and is in great condition. A few weekends of work and some gaskets and you have a $30,000 car with 0 miles on the engine. The car also has $6,000 of aftermarket Klassen forged alloy wheels. The tires on the front have 0 miles, Michelin sports and the rears are pretty new as well. She had $3,500 of brake work done just as the engine blew, new rotors and pads all round (Jaguar parts). The reason I'm selling her like this is because I have 3 young boys and can't find the time to get it finished. I intend to buy another XKR once I sell her - these cars are fantastic.
