Easy Peasy Senior Tablet

My 96 year old mother and I live some distance apart. That, plus the challenges of technology was making communicating with her and coaching her increasingly difficult. Well, we found a remedy that took care of all of that. I got her this awesome GrandPad tablet. It is designed specifically for seniors. She loved it. It got her reconnected and entertained for several years. Well, mom doesn't need it anymore. This tablet is far too nice to sit idle. It needs to bless another senior with its frustration-free communication and entertainment. With minimal instruction like explaining what swiping is and does, and how tapping and touching have different outcomes, it provided her frustration free and secure phone, email, pictures, radio, favorite music, games, etc. Its all one-tap icon driven and it immediately got her back to enjoying all those things that got too complicated on her laptop. As the device admin, I was able to manage it for her remotely using the companion app on my phone. I entered her friends, family, and medical contacts for her. The tablet rejects all other calls and email. No spam. The tablet also makes it easy to place calls. Simply tap the phone icon then the image of the contact. Video calling too? Yup. It also lets the admin disable preloaded features that you both agree won't be used. That simplifies things even further by reducing the visual clutter.
