Washburn EA36 Festival Acoustic Electric in RARE Blue finish

Washburn model EA36 Festival Series with case and humidifier * Acoustic electric * Flamed Birds eye maple body in RARE blue (special order) finish. * Mahogany neck * 14/23 fret extended rosewood bound fingerboard with pearl diamond inlay. * Flame maple veneer on bound peghead. Three per side gold diecast tuners. * Rosewood bridge with pearl dot black pins, acoustic bridge pickup. * Equipped with Equis Gold preamp in blue and Fishman USA pickups. *Originally had 9 diagonal sound channels that the original owner/artist had professionally removed for better acoustic sound. The Festival Series were designed to sound good when amplified at high volumes. This is why their laminated tops were preferred over solid wood tops common on more traditional flat tops. Many artists had signature models (Craig Chaquico, Nuno Bettencourt, Gregg Allman) and many others played them (including Robert Plant, John Jorgenson, David Brooks). This guitar was made in 1996. I am the second owner of this guitar, I purchased it in 1998. Since I've owned it, it has always been stored in its case when not in use and has always been in a climate controlled, smoke free, pet free home. It is in very good condition - aside from normal wear (which isn't much) there is one crack in the lacquer on the back edge of the top, one small scratch on the top, and one small chip on one back edge. (photos available on request) They do not affect sound quality or playability. They are cosmetic only and really only seen on close inspection. Comes with custom case, humidifier, and some extra strings. Case is in good condition- all hinges and handle are in great working order.
