1992 Ski Nautique Open Bow Ford 351 PCM Pro Boss Motor <2 hours / Hull <200 This boat is an interesting opportunity. It has a brand new motor with 2 hours on it. The hull has less than 200 hours. But the gelcoat needs a major polish and it needs new decals and interior. The dash pod and gauges are all in very good condition. I got this boat in 2002 with less than 100 hours on it. I used it for pulling through our course on the Brazos and some barefooting. I skied several times per week all through college and for several years after. But each year we used it less and less. Partly because we got a new Air Nautique 220 in 2007. In 2009, when I winterized this SNOB I had no idea I wouldn't touch it again for 8 years. For the first 4 years it stayed in a metal building at my parents place. Then in 2014 it was moved out side late in the winter without me knowing. Once I was aware it was outside, I noticed the cover was on tight and didn't appear to be holding water. I was distracted with life and didn't think about it again until mid-summer that year. When I uncovered the boat it was a bathtub. I still don't know how, but the plug was in and the boat had filled with rain water up to the cap. The motor, while not containing any water, was a rusty mess on the outside. All the wiring was corroded. The interior was trashed. Last summer one of the most experienced boat mechanics in Dallas (original part-owner and shop manager of Malibu dealership) rebuilt the motor for me. I planned to put a new interior in this winter and polish her up for a spring/summer sale. I don't have time to do another thing and I need it out of my warehouse. This would be an incredible boat for a project oriented family. A huge part of the skiing community considers this the best hull every produced prior to the 200.
