This is well over 100 years old and has been stored in my storage for the past 20 years. It has normal dings and and wear from vintage aging and previous use. I'd love to find a good home for this rare piece. Hand-crafted in Tuban Java, Indonesia. Add this unique antique to your home! You could use this as a daybed, a cuddle den for cocktails, an elegant dog bed, or for those with a creative imagination, it'd make a great stage for puppet shows! You could order a custom mattress to fit this frame, or you could throw a bunch of pillows, sofa cushions, papasan pads, and even blankets to make it cozy. Comes with a roll of sturdy bamboo to line the bottom wood slats. The two back legs can be removed, but the front legs are attached. Each piece has to be put together in a particular order. It's actually a fun puzzle and process to do! Makes you really appreciate the craft. I highly suggest you bring two people with you and/or a set of dollies to help transport this beautifully stunning frame. It's very solid and heavy once put together and it is quite awkward to cary/lift. I could take this apart for transport, but it may better to move it assembled.
