It looks and feels practically brand new, but there is a few light scratches on top BUT in no way do they affect the quality or performance of the camera. Camera takes very sharp and clean pictures, I have used this camera for a few concerts, and have enjoyed the results. Pouch is very clean as well, with no tears, has like a leather feel to it and also a suede feel.
