This is a 1996 I’m pretty sure , 6hp. I bought a 8hp carb and installed it . So it’s an 8hp now but this thing runs like a damn champ. 1-2 pulls every time even after it sits for months. Just got back from a trip to the springs. Runs great. I also have a another motor that comes with it that looks brand new under the cowling . Had the spare motor running also and was going to sell it but the lower unit is bad so I kept it for a parts motor. Very reliable motor that comes with a spare . Price is OBO had it on a 16ft gheenoe it pushed it 13mph
