For sale is a highly sought after Wilderness systems Recon 120HD river and lake ready. This has been my fishing machine and the envy of many as I’ve pedaled by on lake Lewisville and Grapevine and the surrounding areas.

 This fishing kayak is one of the widest on the market making it perfectly stable and excellent for standing and fishing. The seat is incredibly comfortable and has the feature to slide fwd and back to help reach the spacious rear well. Spacious enough for me to put the kid in while we go on a fishing adventure ;) The helix drive is super unique in that it can fully retract into the boat with the press of a button allowing you to scoot over shallow spots like the on the Brazos river. Pedaling is a dream and extremely efficient as it can propel the kayak at 3kts easily and with little effort. Pedaling harder will go even faster! I really like the OEM mountain bike pedals for added security while pedaling. Steering with the rudder works well and the rudder has been adjusting for added sensitivity. But what about a motor? This kayak is motor capable and includes a NIB wilderness systems tooling motor mount primed and ready to be installed on the molded are on the stern. Included with purchase is a 12V Minnekota Endura 50lb. Thrust trolling motor. There are some awesome examples of motor installation on YouTube. The existing cable runs can be used to integrate pedal steering for the motor. The kayak has two thru hull wiring pass thrusters for electronics. I used a Garmin Echomap (not included). There are two Scupper hole mounts in the rear for transducer protection. I will even throw in two custom Yak hobby 3D printed Pad eye cable runs that help secure the transducer cable to the deck.
