Gabriel is the Best!

I can't say enough good things about Gabriel , my service advisor at Acura South Bay. She is a true professional who excels at her job and always takes care of her clients. Gabriel’s attention to detail was impeccable, and she explained every aspect of the service my RDX needed given the maintenance code on my dashboard and current mileage. I really appreciated her transparency  regarding the work and the cost. She patiently answered all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable with everything before proceeding. On top of her expertise, her warm and kind demeanor made the entire visit at Acura Southbay a pleasure. Five-star service from Gabriel every time!

I am deducting 3 stars from this dealer’s review to match the 3 times I had to return for the same issue. I had a gas pump related recall issued for my Acura, and took it to Acura Southbay to remedy. The first time I was told it was remedied, I stuck around the dealer with my work laptop because they told me they had no loaner card. I leave and a couple days later I get an error on my dash related to the gas pump. I called to schedule an appointment with a person who sounded like she was at a call center because she didn’t issue me the proper instructions for what would be an essential part of recheck. The customer service rep tried to tell me he didn’t know if this was related to the work that had just been done and tried to charge me a $271 assessment fee. I told him I will just go to a private mechanic for free or get a diagnostic tool and was he kidding because this just so happened after they had touched my car. He agreed to waive it but very reluctantly and said that he would run some diagnostics but could not run one of the tests because my tank was more than half full. Again, he did not offer a loaner. When the diagnostic was complete he all but assured me he checked again and tightened all of the loosey gooseys. I drove off and a few days later, same issue. I come back and my patience is wearing thin but I keep my cool. They take the car and I agree to wait because again, no loaner car. I come back after lunch and see my car is parked in the same spot, absolutely untouched. I ask a different rep what is the deal, and he said, sorry these diagnostics take time. I said, sir, I am staring at my car which hasn’t been moved, what do you even mean? He said he is going to check and doesn’t return. I ask for an uber and thankfully and finally begin to talk to the service manager. He finally offers a loaner car and swears to make it right. I come back and he admits to mechanical error—a damaged gas tank. I have to wait a week for them to replace the gas tank. And these are experts? Save your money and go to another dealer. Hopefully the service manager cleans the place up.

I highly recommend anyone in the market for a new Acura or any car to use Autonation as their go to for a new or used vehicle . They are transparent professional friendly team . Danielle the manager is the best ! She was very communicative and accommodating . My experience was smooth easy and non stressful .
