For sale is a custom 1973 Honda CB450K6. I love this bike and I’m only selling it to fund the purchase of an adventure bike. Clean title in hand. I made this into a brat/scrambler style bike. I completed this project in August 2019 and nearly everything has been rebuilt, replaced, or cleaned. This was a down to bare frame and back again project. The changes from stock are: - Scrambler pipes from a CL450 with Emgo shorty mufflers - Uni pod filters (air box delete) - Custom seat (it is a lot more comfortable than it looks) - All lights and bulbs (every last one) have been converted to LED - Lithium ion battery with the properly matched rectifier/regulator - Nearly every Phillips head screw has been replaced with stainless steel hex cap screws - “Superbike” bars with bar end mirrors (slightly lower than stock to match the lower seat height) - Removed center stand As of August 2019: - Rebuilt and re-jetted carbs - Valves adjusted - New front brake caliper and pads - Rebuilt brake master cylinder - 2 of 3 front brake lines are new - New lithium ion battery - New rectifier/regulator - New tires and inner tubes - New chain - New mufflers - New pod filters - New spark plugs - Fresh oil change - Tank and frame painted - Rebuilt gauges - All new engine cover gaskets - Points filed and adjusted as well as timing set - Repacked steering stem bearings - Rebuilt forks - New clutch cable - New throttle cable - New grips - Cleaned and lubricated speedometer and tachometer cables - New fuel petcock The only thing that keeps this bike from being 100% perfect is the turn signals don’t flash. Which I think is due to a bad flasher relay. Like many bikes of this era this bike is both electric start and kick start. This bike is easy to ride since it has a low seat height and it’s not head snapping fast like a modern super sport. It definitely turns lots of heads.
