Vintage 1953 King Silver Sonic Cornet. Silver is made of sterling silver with beautiful engraving on-the-job bell, inside the bell is lined with gold flush. On the brass side of the horn itnis in mostly good condition, the brass laqure has wear on it and freckled in a couple spots. Cornet is in near mint condition, still plays excellent. This is a great step up instrument to be your permanent instrument of choice. Should be a professional level horn so it can be used in school, I used it as my jazz instrument in highschool in 2017 till I graduated. It's been closet kept since. Could possibly need a cleaning but I wouldn't send it in somewhere, do it yourself with warm bath water, dawn dish soap, and use your brushes. If you'd like, I'd be hapoy to teach you how to clean it yourself. I cleaned it myself since I wanted this horn to be handled with the upmost care. It has no repairs for metal separation, this horn is truly a clean vintage horn. Valves all push in and out perfect and the slides all move in and out, it wouldnt hurt to regrease them though, I don't have slide grease. One tuning slide has a locking adjustment on it to lock your slide into place. Comes with original kind case, original King mc mouthpiece, extra standard mouthpiece(unsure of size), lyar, cleaning brushes, valve oil, cup mutes, original polishing cloth(DO NOT WASH OR PUT CHEMICALS ON ORIGINAL RAG, ONLY USE TO WIPE INSTURMENT DOWN), I can explain in person. You will not find a silver Sonic this old in this condition and originality. This is the perfect horn to play there's of your life in my opinion.
