Description
Here is a 1985 Honda Goldwing Aspencade, it has roughly 41,000 miles on it. It runs well and drives well. I have the original manual for this motorcycle. When I had purchased it from the previous owner, it had roughly 40,000 miles on it. All electrical works other than the radio. I had not been able to figure it out since the previous owner had installed a BOSS Bluetooth option. It doesn’t bug me since I ride with a CARDO Bluetooth on my helmet. There is a lot of storage space to include two helmet holders underneath the trunk space. It does have a 12 volt outlet for a phone charger. The time I have owned it, I have replaced the battery. I replaced both front and rear tires. I did the basic maintenance as in oil change, oil filter, cleaned the carburetor, air cleaner, did a coolant flush, did a brake fluid change, and cleaned the brake pads. I also replaced the fuses. I had purchased two mirrors. I installed the left one so far since the left mirror was the first to come off, but the right mirror is holding so far. The right mirror will be given to the new owner. I also have extra oil and another oil filter. The unfortunates right now are the front right fork seal has a small leak. I didn’t want another project vehicle/motorcycle as I already have other projects. The second unfortunate, I am not sure why, trying to figure it out, but for some reason, the clutch is not preventing the motorcycle from stalling out. I can hear the clutch engage still. It might be because of the front fork leak, but I don’t know yet. Due to this, the motorcycle might have to be placed in a trailer or back of a truck bed as a safety issue. If I end up fixing the leaking front fork seal, I might keep the motorcycle or increase the price. Prior to these issues, the motorcycle was going up to freeway speed and able to handle 80+. No death wobble of the sort. The motorcycle does turn on and run. At the moment, the gears or clutch isn’t allowing to gear if not on the center stand. The price decrease is because for the issues it has right now. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Thank you.
