Description

Presto Multi purpose Dining-Lounge Table Original vintage gateleg table with two fold down flaps/drop leaves. When leaves are up there are 2 legs and 2 brackets to support. There are two cabinets either side of the central unit with shelf. This unusual piece has a slide out iron holder and a middle section which turns over to become an ironing board. Unusual table and a great example of 'system furniture'. Only manufactured by Sensinwood Ltd in Liverpool, England in the 1940s and 50s. Table generally in good condition (stable, no wobbling) with wear on the top.
