An elegant late 19th century William L. Gilbert "Peto" model kitchen shelf clock. 8-day time and strike movement with a papered metal dial and Roman numerals. Walnut case with shaped crest over a single arched door with stenciled glass on a carved base. Paper label 40% intact. Older refinishing with some wear, old repairs and minor damage, dial discoloration, in working order. 19 3/4" high. Please review all photographs as an important part of the description.
