Mid Century Modern Queen size platform bed by Tørring Møbelfabrik. This bed was part of their designer series. It was designed with maximum storage -- a large drawer on either side of the bed and one at the foot. Each nightstand has two drawers which feature dovetail joints, a slide out ebonized "breakfast in bed" type tray that extends over the bed, and two shelves for additional storage. The headboard also has a large storage compartment built in -- originally used for extra pillows. The bed is very sturdy/heavy and easy to assemble/disassemble with joints that insert into one another. The condition is excellent -- no chips, scratches, missing veneer or odors. Comes from a non-pet / non-smoking environment.
