Ive had this VW type 3 Fastback for about a year. Driven probably four times a week. The prior owner owned it for 9 years, and was driven daily around LA. I purchased this VW with a broken automatic transmission in it. The Reverse and Third gear clutches were gone. I replaced all the clutches in the transmission along with new seals, doesn't leak any transmission fluid at all. I also have a second spare 003 transmission that i got because i needed the differential from it. I will put the transmission in with the car. After rebuilding the rare 003 transmission i did some other things like master cylinder, rear rubber brake hoses, fixed some holes under the battery, and a lot of loose ends the car needed. The body is little bit rough. Driver side door looks pretty worked, I believe the dents and dings go well with the rat rod VW style this car is going for. This car has a salvage title. I believe it was wrecked in the front at one point because it has a expensive fiber glass front clip, so the front trunk isn't very accessible. I am open to trades, something cool and not your moms mini van. I can put money on top or you could, depending on what your car is. If the add is up then the car is still available.
