The couch was originally from the 1800s until it was stripped down to the bones and rebuilt everything except the frame, new springs, backing and stuffing for a modern comfort. I wanted a classic/ retro style with modern comfort. The frame of the couch is made from real solid oak. Custom wood engraving with brass nail heads surrounding the entire couch wrapped in velvet. The couch was reupholstered from the Colorado Upholstery Company, with vibrant crush blue velvet.
